Secret #3- Create Variations On What You Know!
Just to recap, the first 2 secrets to better guitar soloing are:
1) Apply What You Already Know
2) Expand on what you know - then apply it!
And the third and final secret is to Create variations on what you know.
This means that you spend time working with your licks and ideas and focus your time
on seeing how many new, but related, ideas you can come up with.
If you have 1 lick to start with, see if you can create 4 more new ones.
Now you have 5 cool licks instead of one.
This is another way to expand what you know but it's a little different mindset.
